Our story began at a Florida State football game on a Saturday afternoon in October many years ago. As our founder, Larry McLean, looked across the stadium in a crowd of over 85 thousand fans, he wondered how he could possibly help everyone. The thought of debt came to mind...   According to statistics, 65 thousand of those fans were in debt.
"What if I could show people how to get out of debt, including their mortgage, faster than they ever thought possible?"  At that moment, the YOUR FAMILY BANK concept was born.  Working primarily in the senior market for 20 years, Larry had already established a successful business helping clients prepare for their future, but Larry did not let this idea pass.  Further research revealed that debt was the main reason that so many Americans put off their own retirement.  The average American will earn $2 million during their lifetime. Yet at age 65 they have only saved about 3% which is approximately $60,000 in assets including the equity in their house.  This is certainly not the American dream!

Upon forming a partnership with Larry McLean, Patrick Bruns and his staff  have expanded the Your Family Bank mission across the Midwest. Patrick has been a professional in the financial services industry for almost 25 years from his office in Champaign, IL, and has built a strong foundation of education and security for his clients.  

Patrick's passion has always been in teaching others how money works and revealing the secrets the mainstream financial service providers would prefer you not to know, such as the power of compounding interest and the all-encompassing destructive effects of debt.  

He has mentored thousands of consultants throughout the United States and he believes that when individuals apply the knowledge, principles, and strategies that the wealthy understand, they too can become empowered to eliminate debt, become financially independent, and fulfill their own dreams.
